I have been working diligently, getting the studio ready for our return. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: my commitment to our safety and health. And of course, amazing and effective skin treatments!  

 

I will continue to follow universal precautions and the sanitation guidelines of the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. If you only knew what these guidelines entail, you would wonder - what more we could be doing?! As we navigate our way with Covid-19, I will also responsibly adhere to the state and county required guidelines. And with consideration of the health and safety of everyone who walks through our door, I ask that you do the same. 

 

I must advise against scheduling an appointment at this time for those high risk individuals. 

While information is still limited, the CDC indicates that these underlying conditions place people at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19: 

 

› Those 65 years or older › Chronic lung disease › Moderate to severe asthma › Heart conditions › Compromised or suppressed immunity ›Diabetes › Chronic kidney disease › Liver disease 

 

New Studio Etiquette:

 

• Please do not arrive if you are feeling ill, if you have been exposed to covid-19 within the last 14 days, or experiencing symptoms. Symptoms of Covid-19 include:

 

• Fever over 100.4 degrees

• Chills/shakes

• Difficulty Breathing/shortness of breath

• Dry cough

• Sore throat

• Sneezing

• Skin Rashes or skin changes

• Sudden loss of taste or smell

• Gastrointestinal upset

 

 

• All cancellation fees will be waived during this time. 24-48 hour notice will continue to be appreciated. 

• You will receive two emails prior to your appointment. One will be to confirm. The second will be a questionnaire/waiver that must be completed prior to each service. Your temperature may be taken upon entry. 

• Only clients receiving a service or picking up products will have access to the studio. No guests allowed. Minors may be accompanied by one adult. 

• When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your car or outside with your phone available. I will text you when I am ready to welcome you in.

• All clients must wear a face mask (covering the nose and mouth) upon entering and leaving the studio. You may remove it for the actual service but the mask must be worn as you leave the room. I will also wear a face mask and face shield the entire service. The face shield will add an extra barrier of protection, as you will not be wearing a mask. 

• Please sanitize your hands at our new ‘sanitation station’ before entering the studio.

• As much as I love our conversations in treatment, we must keep our conversations to a minimum during service. :(

• Each area, all tools, equipment, and commonly touched surfaces will be sanitized and or disinfected before and after each client.

• All payments for treatment will be done prior to the session. Payments will be through touchless electronic systems via Square invoice emails, Venmo, Paypal, or Zelle.  Please advise prior to your arrival if you need to replenish products and I will add to your invoice. 

• These protocols will continue to be refined and adjusted as needed and I will keep you informed every step of the way. <3

 

Though treatments, amenities and even the studio itself will be different, I am dedicated to providing the same attention and care to your facial treatment.  realize there may be some who are not comfortable coming in for a treatment. I realize there may be some who are not comfortable returning just yet. Just know, I support whatever you are comfortable with at this time.
