The star of our photo, my nephew and Lyssa's boyfriend. :) And yes, he's on Instagram. And with quite the following, I might add. He'll steal your heart with his sass, an abundance of cuteness, and that freaking under bite. Oh, Hank ;)

The giving season is here! And dang it, I need this in my life right now! This year, Lyssa and I will be celebrating with a “Giving Tree," in collaboration with SpcaLA. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles is an independent, nonprofit animal welfare organization serving Southern California since 1877. You will find below a list of their most URGENT needs. Bring in one item from the list (MUST BE NEW, and UNOPENED) and pick a present from our Giving Tree. Prizes range from discount services, samples, products, and of course, a free massage and facial.

SpcaLA is in urgent need of the following items:

• Canned dog food

• Clay, non-clumping cat litter

• Dog chews for enrichment

• Dry & canned kitten food

• New blankets, towels, stainless steel dog/cat bowls

• Gift certificates (Staples, Amazon, etc.)

• New cloth face coverings (for humans) & bandannas (for dogs)

• Kuranda beds

• NEW Dog toys

• NEW Cat toys
